While the property is completely empty and before your furniture arrives — ideally the same day you collect the keys. An empty home can be cleaned far more thoroughly and in less time, because we can reach inside every cupboard, along every skirting board and across every floor without working around anything.

They cover similar ground, but the audience is different. An end of lease clean is done for the outgoing tenant and is judged by the agent's exit inspection. A move-in clean is done for you, the person about to live there — the focus is on sanitising everything you are about to touch and cleaning inside the spaces you are about to fill.

That is your call, and sometimes the answer is no. But an exit clean is done to satisfy an inspection, not to make the home feel like yours — and it is often done days or weeks before you move in. Most clients book a move-in clean for the sanitising rather than the dirt: handles, switches, taps, toilet seats and inside cupboards.

Most properties take between three and six hours. An empty home cleans faster than a furnished one, so a move-in clean is usually quicker than the equivalent deep clean. We will confirm a realistic window with your quote.

Yes, we will clean around whatever is in place. Just be aware that anything we cannot reach — the back of a cupboard that is already full, the floor under a bed that is already built — cannot be included. Tell us what will be there when you book so the quote is accurate.

Yes. Carpet steam cleaning is quoted separately, but doing it before you move in is by far the easiest time — no furniture to work around and the carpets have time to dry properly. Mention it when you book and we will schedule both together.
